MSA Social Media Posts

Overview

As part of the design team for my university’s Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), I created a series of digital graphics for upcoming events, campaigns, and social initiatives. These designs followed a structured color transition system — where the palette subtly shifted across several weeks — to maintain brand cohesion while creating visual variety across posts. The primary focus was on clarity, consistency, and engaging communication within the student community.

Approach

Design System & Color Strategy: Worked within a pre-defined visual guideline that transitioned color palettes over time to create thematic flow and visual continuity across multiple posts.

Toolset: Designed primarily in Adobe Illustrator, using layered compositions, typography treatments, and iconography tailored to each event.

Content Focus: Developed assets for a variety of use cases — including prayer time reminders, charity drives, speaker events, and social gatherings — while maintaining alignment with MSA branding and tone.

Consistency & Flexibility: Maintained a unified layout structure while adapting elements to match each event’s purpose, audience, and mood.

Delivery: Final designs were prepared in various formats for use on Instagram, stories, and printed posters, contributing to increased engagement and attendance.
